Philanthropy

Phi Kappa Tau holds numerous philanthropy events each year and participates in the events of many other greek organizations. Every year Phi Kappa Tau holds the Special Olympics. Special olympians get a chance to flex their muscles and test their athletic skills while having fun with the Phi Tau's. Phi Tau also holds an event known as Sleigh Bell Days which affords under-privileged children an opportunity to enjoy the Christmas experience. The children get the opportunity to meet and recieve presents from Santa and participate in other activities including decorating cookies and creating Christmas cards. If you are interested in being part of one of our wonderful philanthropy events, please email Jason Ormes, our philanthropy chair.

Phi Kappa Tau is also affilitated with a national philanthropy and each year Lambda hosts the Phi Kappa Tau World Series of Poker to raise money this charitable organization. This event invites fraternity and sorority members from across campus to try their hand in a poker tournament to benefit the philanthropy.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, founded by Phi Tau alum Paul Newman, is Phi Kappa Tau's national Philanthropy.
